Multi-Electrode Elvers Counter

The new Multi-Electrode Elvers Counter was developed to ease the counting and validation of upstream migrating Elvers.
The new prototype Multi-Electrode Counter is installed into a new Elvers pass on the River Lune in Lancaster.
This elvers pass is installed with a standard CCTV and DVR monitoring system, which requires a lot of hard work and dedication to interpret the final elver counts, travelling through the Elvers pass on their way upstream.
This new Multi Electrode Elvers Counter is also installed with a CCTV and PCDVR system, which allows for the full video validation of the Elvers which pass over the new Elvers Multi-Electrode Counter base panel on their way upstream.
